Once Auto Merge has been installed, you will have to authorize API access. This step builds the connection between our server and your account. It will also generate your auto merge API key and webhook, which you'll use in triggers.
- In Zendesk Support (agent workspace), click on the lightning icon found on the main navigation bar to access setup. If you don't see the lightning icon, try refreshing the page.
- Click "Authorize". Note: for security reasons, you must click on the authorize button within 10 minutes of loading the page.
- If authorization is successful, you'll be redirected to Auto Merge setup and an Auto Merge Webhook will be created for you.
